The brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesús y Santo Sepulcro de Alicante announces the incorporation of a new musical piece, to enrich and enhance its musical and cultural heritage, and that of Holy Week. It is about “Penas del Nazareno”, composed by the Alicante-born Rubén Jordán, author among others, of the march-anthem “Reina de Santa María” for Holy Week in Alicante and important marches for the city of Seville, such as “Sé siempre nuestra Esperanza ”dedicated to Esperanza Macarena,“ Madre de los Javieres ”dedicated to the brotherhood of Los Javieres,“ Bajo tu Amparo ”, for the brotherhood of Amparo or “ Bajo tu Rosario, Benacazón ”, for Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Benacazón. “Penas del Nazareno”, will be premiered by the Municipal Symphonic Band in the next official concert of Holy Week 2021.
